Our house

So here it is! Our house is finally done!...well for the most part anyway! What house is ever really done right? Anyway, we started in august of 2007 and moved in 3 days before Christmas. We've been still working on projects since and still have many more to go, but we are just extatic to be living in such a wonderful home. We feel very blessed!!Here is the kitchen, which I absolutely love! I love how the cabinets turned out and that I have a ton of space. We still need a countertop for the raised part on the island. It is going to be a butcher block. Our cabinet guy is suppose to build it but has been putting it off.This is the fireplace obviously. Jon did part of the rock, which I was proud of him for putting in some sweat on our home. He actually helped with several different other things too.
So this here is the new "projector". Ooh la la! It's been great for watching movies and playing video games.

Holy Moly

Guess who this is! I can't tell you how excited I am to finally get this figured out!! I've been wanting to share some home videos and have had the hardest time getting it right. But here one is finally!

Here's my little Andrew listening to Over the Rainbow on my MP3 player. I think he listened to the song like 5 times in a row. He has a thing for Wizard of Oz. Except he actually calls it "Lizard of Oz". :)

Andrew's cake and presents

I made an attempt to make Andrew's cake (he loves trains!) I'm not great at it, but Andrew sure loved it. He kept trying to drive the train. :) And you gotta love the picture of him opening gifts...as he showing us one he's reaching for another. Ha!
I just can't believe my baby is not a baby anymore. He's the big 3 now! And getting cuter by the minute too! No one can resist those big puppy dog brown eyes!

Andrew's birthday activity

So we went to Outer Limit Fun Zone for Andrew's birthday and had a ball. We met up with my friend and her little girl (who is Andrew's "best friend" of course) and they ran off to the play place before we could even say "Happy Birthday". Of course the one who had the most fun I think was Jon. He played in the arcade and won over 700 tickets! Wow! Andrew's eyes lit up when he saw all the tickets! Him and Josh had fun picking things from the prizes.

Almost over the hill

My very good friend Heidi thought it would be fun to rub it in that I was turning 30! So she made this fun cake...and yes it is black. She actually threw a surprise party for me with some of my friends and showed up at my house for lunch. It was great!

So this is Andrew and his best friend Siera. They obviously loved the cake! Gotta love black frosting! Ha!

Going to the movie

So I'm finallly finding some time to add some pictures on this blog I've had for a while now. It was so fun to go to the movies with those that were able to be here over Christmas. Somehow Caleb got lucky and got to be with the grownups. :)
