Rexburg Really Rocks!

This last Friday me and the boys went up to Rexburg to camp with my sister Laura and her husband Matt, while Jon did his traditional fishing at midnight below American Falls damn. That's when the season starts every year. We went to a little park outside of Rexburg right on the river and we even got an amazing spot right by the water. We all had a bunch of fun playing outside, watching the fishermen, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows, etc..

There was a tree blooming and it had bees flying all around it. The whole tree was humming! The boys thought the dock was pretty fun to play on.
Isn't this the perfect picture of making a wish? You can see all the seeds flying away!
What a precious little boy!

Playgrounds are perfect for fun shots of the boys!

A fisherman was nice to let Caleb real in this white fish. Caleb was pretty proud!
Rexburg has a great spray park (that's free!!) to play at. I sure wish Pocatello had one of these, the boys loved it!! (Except for Andrew who was being so clingy and rolled around on my lap the whole time. Ugh!)

Yes...even Ross Park Zoo can be fun!

Andrew had a field trip for his preschool to the Ross Park Zoo. It is a pretty tiny zoo, but really it's just right for preschoolers. Plus Andrew was whining and screaming the whole time anyway, so thank goodness it wasn't bigger!! I sure had fun taking pictures of the animals though! And then there's the great exercise you get from climbing that huge hill to get to the top of the zoo! (It's always fun to run down the other side!)

This by far was my favorite picture. The peacock was spinning around slowly showing his feathers off and I caught it right at the perfect moment!Andrew got pretty impatient at this spot where they have a swan and some ducks. He just couldn't wait to get movin'!!

For the first time for us we got to see the coyotes howling their little hearts out! There was one on the rock too that I didn't see at first, but it was amazing to see them talk away!

This little fox was right by the glass...just too cute to pass up!
Gotta stop and smell the flowers, right?
The kids had a ball on this spiderweb net.

He takes after his father, can you tell? Scopin' out somethin' with the binocs!

We've had a birthday shout hooray!

Caleb was so excited to turn 10! I can't believe he is actually 10! He is growing up in so many different ways and I'm so impressed with what he is capable of doing now. We had a fun night as a family playing at Outer Limit Fun Zone (an arcade place) and eating pizza. Then back home for some yummy fudge brownies drizzled with white chocolate. (I thought we'd go for something different than cake this time.)Caleb thought he caught me that I had put 11 candles on his cake, but everyone needs one to grow on, right?!
Nothin' fancy but yummy none the less! Caleb was fascinated with how I did the white chocolate...he said, "Ooooh! So that's how the stores do it!"
And some new basketball shoes for running around! (He's getting more into the clothes thing, which is great because he's figuring out how to match his clothes himself!!)
