Christmas Morning

The boys this year let us sleep in for Christmas morning which was a miracle.  We didn't get woken up until 7:15.  They set a standard now!  :)  It was another explosion of gifts this year.  The kids were in wrapping paper heaven.

It's gonna be hard to wait until the road isn't all wintry anymore to go drive this bad boy.

I love how my mom sits back patiently and quietly observing all the chaos around her.  I think she loves it though.

The Nativity

This year we did the Nativity story at Gretchen's house.  We all got dressed up and ready for our parts.  This time Erik had a script for us, which was fun.

Temple Square

It doesn't ever get old going to see the Christmas lights at Temple Square.  It is simply amazing!  The crowds were big that night though which made it a little more cumbersome.  But we still enjoyed all the beautiful colors and assortments of lights.

Look at all those curls!  Caleb's hair has been a bit of a battle.  Everyone loves his curls, but not the 'fro.  When he does his hair it looks so good!

We took trax to get to the temple so we didn't have to fight for parking.  The kids love that part!

PreChristmas and family history at Grandma and Grandpa Bertlers

We went down to Utah to spend some time with family and do some family history too.  We went to Grandpa Rolf's and Grandma Helen's down in Provo first.  The kids were in heaven with starting Christmas a little early by getting some gifts from Grandma and Grandpa.  After the gifts my dad and I worked on preparing his parents names for the temple.  And we did it!  And plans are in the work to go to the temple and get their work done.  Very exciting!

Aren't these two just adorable?!

Jon loves afternoon naps.  He was settling in for one and Andrew cozied up.  Then dad started getting silly.  :)

Inkom Elementary Christmas Program

We look forward to watching the elementary's Christmas program each year.  All the classes do such a great job with their songs and dances.  It is very entertaining!  We appreciate the teachers so much for teaching the kids the fun songs and helping them to perform their best!
