I just love animals!

So I guess I have a little bit of an animal fetish. And before I continue let me get the record straight....I did not get another puppy. This darling little basset hound is only 10 weeks old and my sister Laura and her husband Matt recently got her....her name is Rooney. We had so much fun with her when they last visited! And I couldn't resist my cute kitty when he was showing his fury tummy. :) Now this brings meaning to puppy dog brown eyes!!
She was constantly dipping her ears in her water bowl, it was pretty funny!
Gotta love those wings!

Sisters are AWESOME!

All day saturday we worked on our crafts or other projects and ate munchies and of course chatted away. It was great! We planned this perfectly because it happened to be Elizabeth's birthday on Sunday too. Katie made 2 delicious cream pies and Elizabeth was pretty surprised!
Katie worked on a darling quiet book for her daughter Abigail.
Look at all the great fabric Katie was using!
Laura worked on scrap booking and got a new baby Basset Hound the day before she came and she is the cutest thing ever! Her name is Rooney. (More pics to come of her...I couldn't resist...I had to take some pics of her!)
Elizabeth worked on a blanket for her hubby. It's going to look great!
And poor Emily, who is almost 7 months pregnant, was sicker than sick. But getting naps here and there and watching movies....quietly...was a treat in and of itself.
I couldn't help but get a picture of all these cool ribbons. Aren't the colors just awesome!? Katie also made a barrette for Abigail using some of these ribbons, which was interesting to learn.
As for me I first worked on a quilt that I'm making for Caleb and then scrap booked my heart out. Thanks again ladies for coming over! I just loved every minute!!

Famous Feet!

So I was reading an article in the Conference Ensign one day to teach a lesson from it in the Young Womens. I was just reading along when I noticed this picture of a woman's feet in the article (p.28 in the last conference issue). And then I did a double take thinking that those shoes sure looked familiar. Then the light bulb went on and I knew exactly whose shoes those were....mine! My mom and I went to see the Saturday morning session and after the session I remember a photographer taking pictures of my feet as I was tiptoeing through a puddle. But of course I thought nothing of it. So I guess my feet are famous now! :)

Here's the real deal...my shoes and the skirt in the background. :)
