My baby is growing up!

My sweet little Andrew turned 4 on Wednesday. We all went to Outer Limit Fun Zone and had all the video arcade game fun we could have and then we came home and dove into the "Big, Bad, Blue Cake"! (That was Andrew's request...a solid blue cake. It was a great request for me since cakes are not my forte!) Andrew of course had to lick every candle he could his hands on!
There really was a spoon sitting right in front of him! :)
The wiggle car was a hit! He calls it his "bike". He's loved riding it around the house....until I noticed the floor getting scratched up so it got sent to the garage unfortunately.

I've just been havin' too much fun taking pictures of anything and everything! So you'll have to excuse me for a while until I get this excitement out of my system. And I hope you don't get sick of seeing Andrew driving his fast car, but he's just so stinkin' cute when he drives it and I've been trying different things.

The first picture I took was on a day that we had fog and everything was frosted. It was so pretty!

Yup...it's a rock....just a rock...about the size of the tip of my finger!
This eagle comes and hangs out every year in the valley here. Pretty neat! I wish I had a huge zoom to get a close up of it!

Photographer in training...Beware!

I finally got brave today to tackle my new camera. It has more settings on it than a spaceship I think! I absolutely love photography but could never really take pictures like I have wanted to with our little camera. I have a lot to learn and need a lot of practice but I'm excited to open my horizons with photography!

An angel among us

Andrew was plum tuckered out after playing outside with his "fast car" and conked right there on the couch....snow boots and all! Can anyone resist a sleeping child? Definitely not me!!

Puzzle time!

This year we received an awesome puzzle from Jon's brother Andy and his family so a few of us went for it! Laura (my step-sister) and Matt (her husband) started and then Jon and some others pitched in to help...and then presto we have a finished puzzle! What a beautiful picture! Thanks Andy and Sherrie for sending us the puzzle!
