I hope everyone hasn't given up on my blog since it's been forever since I last posted. Jon had the camera for a little while from bear hunting and I just kept forgetting to get it from him. I didn't even have it on my girls trip. :( Luckily most of the others had one so I was able to get pictures from them. Here are my wonderful friends from California. Left to right: Jennifer, Kathryn, Me, Marie, Shauna, Thira, and Marie. Yup two Maries! We just had a ball! Everything from eating out to going to the beach to playing card games until 3 in the morning!! Ha!I was in absolute heaven at the beach. It was a perfect day! Somehow the beach at American Falls just doesn't compare.

Herst Castle
So here we all are at Herst Castle (which is absolutely amazing to see!) This is the view to the ocean from one of the patios (if you can really just call them patios 'cause they are so huge!).This is the pool outside that originally was smaller and was added on to. You can't see the two waterfalls that come into this pool. This pool was very enticing, you just wanted to jump in!
Here's the indoor pool and every inch of this room and pool are covered in tiny mosaic tiles. Half of which were gold leafed. Just amazing!!
This is the main house (there are 3 guest houses too) and we only saw a small portion of it. It was just huge and incredible inside. Many of the ceilings were imported from other palaces and castles and everywhere were beautiful art and statues.
The garden alone at the castle could've had its own tour. It was beautiful! Since the castle was built they've planted over 70,000 trees. Yes that's the right amount of zeroes!

New layout
So I wouldn't have normally chosen this cowboyish layout, but considering we're turning into cowboys I thought it was appropriate. :) Let's just hope I don't start talking like one y'all!
