Trampolines, Plays,and wheelers

The boys are up to so many things lately it's hard to keep up but I'll keep posting as I can.  Joshua had a play he was in for his class and it was fun to watch.  It was a play in the old west during civil war times.  I love the mustache and gun!

One night...a chilly one too...the boys got an itch to sleep on the trampoline.  Andrew looks happy as can be in his sleeping bag!  Course I'm not sure how long it lasted because they ended up in their beds sometime in the night.

Oh....!  There's another kid in there!

Jazz/Laker game

Yikes I put off posting this forever! This was spring break last year (2011). I took the pictures with my phone...no cameras allowed in there ya know...but never took the time to put the pictures on my computer until recently. We were way up there, it felt like you were gonna fall onto the court. It was so fun to be there and hoot and holler with the boys!

So do you think we are Jazz fans or Laker fans?

I was the lone Jazz supporter in the family. (Secretively routing for the Lakers...shhhh)

Two Pinewood derbies!

Interestingly we had two pinewood derbies this year! One for Joshua with his pack and the other was Jon and Caleb's with the young men and young women.

The boys came up with some really cool designs for their cars!

Andrew was feeling a little left out so Jon shared his car with Andrew. It was their car together.

Caleb decided the more weight the better! In theory it sounded good but not so great in practice. Hahaha! I love your creativity Caleb!

The original car he made was very slick! He made it 100% himself!

Just as a side note...I took these pictures with my phone...not loving the quality but it captured the memory...the most important part!

Caleb's Choir Concert

A few days ago Caleb let me know he was going to have a choir concert. I had no idea what a big production it would be! Grades 7-12 were involved. They did such a great job!

We of course picked the opposite side Caleb was on but we could still hear his lovely voice!

He spotted me and couldn't help but smile!

Jon being the Young Mens President at church he has become close to a few of the young men that also sang. This part was hilarious!

All of them back together was amazing! They sounded so good!

The best entertainment comes right from our own house! Socks just loves boxes of any kind...especially if there is a wrapper on it.

They love the fresh air from outside! Socks has started to venture outside since these pictures were taken, but Lily is still a fraidy cat!...I'm okay with that!

Coyote Hunting

One Saturday Jon took Caleb and I coyote hunting. The boys were excited about the hunt, I was excited to take pictures! The landscape was beautiful and serene. There was a slight breeze and the sun was shining. I couldn't believe how warm it was for a February day. We sat for quite a while and then Jon found a coyote. He got it! I'm never the kind of person that delights in killing but I know that coyote populations need to be managed to help other species as well. Jon has two pelts from previous hunts that he saved and they are beautiful!

Andrew's 7th birthday

Our young man has turned 7! It's a little strange not having a little toddler running around in our house anymore...of course now we have 3 big boys running around the house! Yikes! I love Andrew's enthusiasm with things. He thoroughly enjoyed singing happy birthday along with everyone else!

Andrew requested something with legos and I know he loves M & Ms so here we have a pirate lego guy with his "loot"!
