The boys and I were inside in the kitchen area when all of a sudden we heard "THUMP"! We looked outside on the deck and there was this cute little sparrow dazed and confused. Luckily it wasn't hurt and the boys had fun holding it.
That's awesome. I think it is a Western Bluebird and, given the bright blue, probably a male. I really like the bluebird families, but I'm partial to this one's cousin, our state bird, the Mountain Bluebird. Wikipedia has good information about these little buggers, if you'd like to learn some more about your visitor.
