Playing around with macro

One of my favorite things with photography is taking close up pictures (i.e. macro). The main difficulty in doing this with little cameras is being able to close enough. So it's fun to finally be able to get really close now! These flowers are super tiny! Each flower is as big as a ball on a straight pin.

  2. That purple flower brings back memories of botany class where our teacher tortured us into memorizing over 100 scientific names of flowers. I remember it's in the mustard family - but so much for recalling its classification! HA! But, yes those flowers are so tiny! My grandma, for the first time, saw the flowers blooming on the trees here and was amazed at all the little flowers!! :)
